This camp oven coca cola ribs recipe was one we started cooking right at the start of my cooking journey with Nick when I was known as one of the cast iron boys. Having cooked 100’s of kgs of them now they still are one of my favs to cook in the camp oven.

Camp Oven Coca Cola Ribs

Ingredients

  • 1 kilogram of ribs (beef 0r Pork)

  • 1 bottle of smokey BBQ marinade

  • 2 litres of coca-cola

Directions

  • Cut the ribs into individual pieces.
  • Pour cola into the camp oven, add the ribs and bring to a boil. Let boil for half an hour.
  • Remove ribs and drain cola. Brush marinade over ribs and place back in the camp oven.
  • Bake for one hour, whilst re-basting the ribs with more marinade every 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!!
